The Winter Scrappin Slumber Party was amazing. Such sweet ladies and so much to inspire and encourage us. I love getting together and getting creative with friends!

 This event is all inclusive... Which means you don't have to do a thing but create the whole weekend. You will stay in one of 5 rooms in my home Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.  You will eat home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday and a wonderful Brunch is provided Sunday. There are snacks, drinks and sweet treats out and available all weekend. Suzy West is our guest teacher and she will teach 2 classes which are also included in the price of the event!

Sunday brunch is always a special treat. Its a time to sit down and eat together and close out the weekend relaxing and enjoying time with friends before everyone heads home. 

Each event is unique and special and full of heart. Each detail prepared to inspire and encourage you to get creative with your sweet friends. 

Suzy West taught these 2 classes included in the cost of the event! Class #1 was 2 different 12x12 page layouts and class #2 was a joyful banner. Suzy's classes are always chock a block full of product. She loves to spoil us with her creativity and product.

Daily Challenges...

I have a challenge for you... These past few months have been amazing good and BAD. People close to me have had loss I just can't even imagine. I finally finished renovating, getting the studio up and running again and the boys are settling in. I'm so sensitive to their milestones... There just seems to be this balance in the chaos. It's like everything I have wanted for so long but repressed and many things I didn't want and will never understand. It has certainly been a long 5 years but there is life after divorce... I didn't always think that. I have begun taking pics of my day keeping in mind what stood out the most. I will be trying to do it everyday. I just think that this day is all we are given. I want to make the best of it. Embracing the new, the present, the good moments and the bad. Somehow learning something from all of it. These will be the many faces of me and the ones who make up my sweet family. I will make memories all over this world. It's been a crazy ride but here's to living the only way I know how.... I love hard, laugh and cry, wear my emotions on my sleeve, say way too much with no filter, I see the good in others even when I shouldn't and hold true honesty, character and loyalty high on my list of what I will show my children and those around me everyday. So my challenge is let's see the good and the bad in each day but dwell on the good and the best. Live this one life we have to live the best way you know how.

Something just clicked and I have been creating everyday. I actually get up excited to get in the studio. The passion is burning again. I could not be more excited about it!

 

Here are a few layouts I created for my book. I am using an 8 1/2 x 11 for my personal pages. Its easier for me to get back into the groove and its a perfect size to show off my life moments.
